10 minutes recipes: Fantastic meals every college student must know

Argh! Those hectic mornings when we become no less than flying jets starting right from cursing the snoozing alarm to rushing to the college gates(but not in the attire as we expected to dress up), I can feel you. Almost every Monday is a lazy and rushing day for me. No worries! Peeps, I have gathered some healthy and easy recipes that you can brag up loud.

Choco Banana Smoothie bowl

This is such an easy and quick Idea! All you need is a pack of 2 bananas and toppings of your choice. I’m sure there are a lot of choco-lovers out there. This yum bowl of happiness is for you.

What do you need?

  • 2 Small Bananas or 1- 1.5 Big banana
  • 1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder or 2-3 tablespoons of choco-syrup
  • 2-3 teaspoon Honey
  • nuts, raisins, Almonds, banana slices for toppings

How to Do?

  • Take a blender, add all the ingredients, and blend it till you get a smooth desired consistency. 
  • And that’s it! Add your favorite nuts, raisins, almonds or banana slices as toppings to this super easy and healthy bowl.

[My thought: You can add milk to the smoothie if you want, I’m not fond of milk, so I skipped this step.]

Boiled Egg Sandwich

I l-o-v-e this egg sandwich. Actually! I used to hate eating eggs, specifically “boiled eggs.” But due to medical prescriptions, I couldn’t ditch but had to eat them every day. I tried different recipes to try and love eating eggs. Finally, I experimented this tasty way of making eggs, I couldn’t resist but fell in love with it.

What do you need?

2 Bread Slices (no white bread, we are trying to be healthy!)

2 Boiled eggs

1 Onion sliced

1-2 teaspoon Black pepper

1 -1.5 teaspoon salt 

0.5-1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder (I like it spicy)

How to do?

  • Toast the bread slices
  • Cut the boiled eggs and fry them along with sliced onions on a pan
  • Add pepper, red chili powder, and salt
  • Fry for 5-10 minutes (don’t overcook them)
  • Put it on toast, and It’s ready to eat.

[My thought: You can add mayonnaise to the toast. Okay! honestly, the eggs might take a while to boil at times.]

Banana Oatmeal Pancakes

I tried this recipe recently, and I couldn’t stop myself from sharing it with you. These pancakes can be made right from your blender in 15 minutes max. Let’s not wait and dive into the making of the delicious pancakes.

What do you need?

  • 1 Banana
  • 1-1.5 cups of rolled oats
  • Vanilla essence
  • 1.5-2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon of salt
  • 1-2 teaspoon honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • Sliced fruits and honey for topping

How to do?

  • In a blender, pour all the ingredients and blend until smooth
  • Heat the pan and grease with desired oil
  • Pour the pancake batter in circles and cook for 2-4 minutes 
  • Flip the pancake and cook the other side
  • Place the pancakes on top of each and top with sliced fruits and drizzle with honey.
