Not so boring monotone outfits

Not so boring Monotone Outfits | Monochrome Fits

Monotone outfits need not always be sophisticated and formal. They can be fun too.

Our older generations used to do all this matching stuff. When it comes to getting ready, they always go for things that match together like a green saree with green bangles and with green hair -ties.

And, if possible they won’t mind having green footwear and neckwear along with that.

We used to think that is outdated, contrast is the new bidding trend and we try to mix-match all the combination colors like pink and green.

But Nah! Guys nothing goes out of fashion, it only takes a little rest and splashes back again with new and creative energy.

I heard most of the people saying ” Go for monotones if planning for a formal and sophisticated look”.

And, I used to wonder why do monochrome outfits always have to stitch along with a sophisticated formal look and why can’t it be an informal outfit blended with a chic factor in it?

Well, for me – I love to be classy and sophisticated but at times the kid in me wants the desire of joy to be seen in my looks.

I created these three easy – informal – chic – joyful – Monotone outfits.

White Monochromic fits

I chose white wide-leg trousers and paired them with a sheer white tank top and layered with a white denim jacket.

To complete my white-on-white look, I added a pair of white casual shoes.

Other options:

  • White Jacket with White Denim Skirt
  • All-white overalls with White T-shirt or Shirt
  • White blazer/jacket with white shorts and camisole or t-shirt.

Beige Monotone Fits

Beige is the most loved color for a monochrome outfit. Just pair your beige trousers/pants with a beige shirt or with a similar color-shaded shirt/jacket.

I went for a black crop top as it had stripes of a varying tone of beige on it. And, to magnify my look, I matched them with a neutral color (black) bag and footwear.

TEC Suggestions:

  • Add varying colors to your beige outfit like light shades of beige or brown.
  • Accessories like tan bags, brown shoes would be a great significant addition to your look.
  • Mix and match with off-white and gold colors.

Blue Fits

I wore a blue turtle-neck printed tunic with a dark blue denim skirt. I accessorized it with a light shade blue bag and a bluestone studded bracelet.

TEC Suggestions:

  • For mix and match, choose grey or light shades of blue or white.
  • Mixing with varied colors and textures adds a pop of delight to your look.
