Did you ever try curling your hair with a curling rod or with some heating equipment? And, how successful were you in burning your hair?

I am going to share with you one such secret ingredient that has not just brought back my hair to life. But, at the same time made me achieve my curly dream. It is an essential step if you want your curls to last a bit longer.

As for me, every time I curled my hair with heat, I ended up in two thoughts:

  1. How dry and rough my hair is going to turn out the next day after the shower?
  2. And, why did I even choose to do this to my hair?
Flat iron hair can damage hair

My hair has been straight since my birth, and still, a few years back, I started styling it with a straightener. I just wanted to get that extra salon look and, I kept on doing it till my straight hair ended up being ‘Bubble Hair.’

For the past year, I realized how torturous I was towards my hair and, the reason for my rough hair is ‘my negligence.’

I stopped using heat to my hair, chopped all the bleached highlights, and did hair-spa almost possible time. But it took more than one year to reach my current hair condition.

And, at no cost, I want to spoil it again. I feel my hair saw a drastic change in its texture after using the Amazing Argan Oil of Khadi and, it worked like wonders to my hair.

After Ages, I could finally feel my smooth and silky hair. And, of course, I took ample precautions before styling my hair.

But does caring for hair indicate ‘No-styling for hair’? I would say a Big ‘No.’

How I curled my hair successfully after several attempts?

As my hair was always in the straight hair zone, I tried many times to add curls or waves to my hair. But till now, I was never successful in achieving my desired curls.

I started surfing through the non-heat curling techniques and, I tried the twisted knots, the socks technique, the braids, and a lot more.

Not to mention but I used styling tools for it too, but still didn’t succeed. But finally, last week I got the curls I have been dreaming about all my life.

If you read one of my latest posts, I mentioned that I was trying some heatless curling method. And, my hair didn’t get curled through that method so, I didn’t post any earlier.

I tried again on Saturday, and Sunday morning was a big surprise for me.

My hair had the curliest day ever.

How did I curl my hair without heat?

Headband curls are something that most of us know. And, I have tried it twice earlier but, I never got the lasting curls with it.

How I curled my hair without heat that are long lasting

But when I failed with the dough-nut Bun hair curling technique, I thought of giving one last try to Head-band curling.

Steps:

  • Brush your hair and damp it with water
  • Put on a headband and start looping each strand of your hair into it.
  • When you reach the hair at the end, secure it with a Hair-band at the bottom.
  • Wet your hands and dap on your looped hair or, you can use a spray.
  • Go to bed and, the next morning, untangle your hair from the loop.

I used to do the same steps but this time added a few drops of Argan oil after removing the headband.

It not just made my curls look glossy but also made my curls last for a long time.

Curled my hair without heat and are long lasting curls

And this is how I got my first ever successful curls. If you are tired of using the heating tools and want a guaranteed curling method, then this is the one for you.

It worked for me and, I suggested the same for a few of my friends. And, it worked for them too.

Remember, You shouldn’t be oiling your hair, instead, use it just like a few drops of serum.

But the curling with heat using styling tools have their own perquisites like more clean and defined look. But if you are looking for alternatives, this is one of the best ways to curl your hair.
