Are you bored with the regular open hair? Want to give a slight touch of braids to it? Well, many of you may think braids can be a hard task to take on. I used to feel the same. The thought of braiding hair to be time-consuming was also a part of my imagination.
Hahaha! Braiding is not always time-taking or hard, try these easy and quick braided hairstyles for open hair. I learned to do these hairstyles when dressing up for college was a part of my busy morning schedule. (Thanks to COVID to take away my college days)
[Note: You can notice my hair is damaged in these images, I’m currently working on repairing it by following a certain hair routine, will let you know once the hair routine is successful. It’s been a week since I started and I can see a difference in my hair quality.]
1. Mid-partition Both side braid
- Brush your hair into the middle partition
- Start Braiding the hair from the front of each section of the hair
- Plait till half of the hair
- You can pin the hair with a bobby pin or hair clip
- Or can tie it as a half ponytail or half-bun
2. Mid-French Braid
- Take a teasing comb or use the edge of your comb and take the front midsection of the hair
- Now take the mid strand of that section and start braiding french [Remember braid only taking hair from that section]
- Plait till the center of the head and tie it in a half bun
- You can use a cute bandana or hairband over the bun
- Or can tie it in a half ponytail or can secure the braid with hairpins
3. Two strand – side braid
- Comb your hair into side partition( Right or left-your desired side)
- Now take two strands from that side and braid separately
- Plait till the tip of the strands and pin them
4. Puff hair with braid
- Take the front hair [ can take just the mid-top section or the entire mid-section]
- Puff the hair and pin it
- Now take two strands from both the sides of the section and braid them
- And after braiding till the tip of the strands, pin them to the lining of the puffed hair
- Add a cute or quirky hairpin or tie it as a half ponytail
5. Side French
- Brush your hair into side partition ( Your preferable side right or left)
- Take three strands of hair from the front of your side hairline
- Start french braiding the strands of hair
- Plait half of your side hair and pin it
- You can use a bright or quirky hairpin to give a chic look
