Yes, you read it correctly! I visited bel resto cafe 5 times in the past 30 days. Now you can assume that the taste here is something I like and can’t stop from going there once every few days.
And, the fun factor is every time I visited here, I was with a set of new people. With my friends, sister, mom, and pg mates. So yes! basically I was showing everyone this cozy and elegant place.
And, my all-time favorite dish here is GOBI 65. You might wonder like me that gobi 65 is basically gobi ka pakora but no! Here it tastes different and something that is spicy and has an Indian touch but looks continental.
After visiting four times, I could proudly say that this is one of the best restaurants and has the best food. Especially when I visited for the fourth time, the aloo paratha they served left me awe-struck.
My last visit to Bel resto Cafe
But, two days back I went to bel resto cafe again as one of my friends wanted to taste their food after hearing a lot many compliments from me.
The first shock for me was the gobi was overboiled this time and could say that it degraded 30% in terms of its taste.
The second and major disappointment was that the aloo paratha had hair in that, we took it as a mistake. And ordered another plate of aloo paratha, and this time we found a thread in it.
Though the waiter there was very concerned and attentive, the manager didn’t even come once to check it. As she was sitting near us, we expected her to come at least once to check and resolve the issue.
When I visited for the first two times, this wasn’t the case, she was very attentive and the food was really tasty. We came to know through the waiter that the chef is changed so it is the fault of the new chef.
The food is still good but there has been a declining graph in terms of the management and taste.
I hope they get a bit more careful from now on. Because I used to really love the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. It is very near to my place and I liked to visit it once every few days.
I feel this might be a one-time mistake and if you are in 80 feet road, this might be a stop for you. Though there are several awesome places in new bel road that can leave you astonished with pleasure.
