Last month, just before I turned 24, I had the fortune to go on one of my dream trips to Paris, France. Although it was a short trip, I was determined to make the most of my time there. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get the mandatory photograph with the glittery Eiffel Tower at night, but I did manage to capture a few great shots of my outfits. When putting together my outfits, I followed the suggestion of Tan France by avoiding wearing a beret in Paris. Although I love Berets and dresses which are hyped as the ultimate outfits when we think of Paris but I believe fashion in Paris is beyond this. Hence, I wanted to showcase fashion style besides the stereotypical Parisian style. And, wore outfits which would make a fashionable statement. Montmartre, Paris
On the first day of my trip to Paris, I decided to explore the lively and vibrant area of Montmartre. The atmosphere was filled with music and singing, which added to the joy of Paris. The view from Montmartre was truly a sight to behold and the panoramic view of the city was breathtaking.
I had been saving a floral corset top for a year but finally got the opportunity to wear it in Paris. I paired it with a long, fitted black skirt, which gave a classic and elegant look. The black mesh gloves added further sophistication to the ensemble, and I felt like a true Parisian.
Lastly to complete the look, I accessorized with gold-toned rings, a watch, and bracelets, which highlighted the black gloves perfectly. I also wore a chain ear cuff, which added a touch of edginess to the overall look. Unfortunately, I lost the ear cuff on my way back from Paris, but the memories of my first day in the joyful city will always be with me.
