How to look stylish and sporty? And, why it’s essential to wear good workout clothes?

Most of us have put on weight by being at leisure and doing almost all the work sitting and sleeping. And,

I can see most of us have put on weight during this lockdown period. Reasons are quite obvious – sitting idle at home or over-eating our favorite home food. And, the main reason for my weight gain was exploring different foods almost every day and mostly unhealthy. 

But guys! now the time has come to get rid of our big fat tummies. No, I am not body shaming but being fit makes us feel good. I want to lose weight at least to fit in my old clothes.

So, now let’s come to our target topic:

 ‘how and why to dress up good while working out?’

Firstly, Do you feel active being in your pajamas? or do you feel comfortable jumping or sweating in skirts, trousers, or any such everyday outfits? The answer for me is ‘No.’ 

No, I can’t work out in pajamas because they make me feel cozy and lazy.

I can’t work out in other everyday outfits because they make me feel cautious and moreover I don’t feel comfortable. 

Now secondly, there are scientifically proven explanations on why you should wear the right clothes while exercising. 

  • We sweat a lot while doing any physical activity and that sweat can cause various health issues like rashes. So, fabrics such as polypropylene are mostly used in gym and activewear that tends to evaporate the sweat from our body.
  • You will feel more comfortable in flexible clothes and it increases your functionality too.
  • For some of us, these sporty clothes motivate and increase our energy levels to work harder. 
  • And, keep all things aside, I love the way we look when we wear athleisure outfits. We tend to look so attractive and healthy.

So, now the fashion session time:

How I look stylish and sporty while working out?

Today is day 4 of my outfit everyday series. Typically it’s the 6th day, but I cannot post every day because my college suddenly announced my end semester exams to be held in the first week of July. 

And, I am going through some training too. 

But I will keep my promise of 10 outfits and each outfit with a different point of view. 

Today, the vibes are ‘sporty’ and ‘stylish’.

I wore a pair of black high waist legging and paired it with a white crop tank top. And, layered it with a purple utility jacket. 

I tied my hair into a half bun.

 

Remember not to accessorize your workout looks. Just add a watch, phone holder, and Gym bag. 

And, don’t forget your sports shoes.

So, if you don’t have good gym wear, don’t mind investing in them. 

Wearing sportswear is the new trend. 

You don’t have to limit its use to just the physical activities but can wear it as casuals too with just a few twists here and there.
