How to pose - Woman Boho Outfit ideas

Christmas in Goa!

As you know from my previous post, I was in Goa for a few days in December. And, this is the story of my second day there.

Waking up right next to the blue waves of the Arabian Sea. And, feeling the joy of Christmas in the state of churches and convents, that is how my second day in Goa got started.

I woke up with the jingles of Christmas. And, I was excited for my trip to South Goa was waiting for me. And, I decided to schedule my South Goa tour. The reason was to see the pomp and beauty of Christmas in Old Goa with Portuguese Churches and Convents.

Moreover, I was excited to wear the bohemian dress that I saved for Goa for eight months.

Where did I visit in South Goa

We started our journey at Calangute in the morning and our first stop was to Miramar Beach. Miramar Beach is known to be the local’s beach. It is one of the two beaches in Panjim, the Capital city of Goa.

Dolphin sight seeing

I went there to go Dolphin sightseeing. Ya! I know I sound like a proper tourist person here.  It’s been ages since I last felt the amazing vibes of being a tourist. Our tour guide asked us to get in a boat and I must say the boat was filled with amusement of music and dance. But I made sure to keep an eye on the blue waters to capture the beauty of the dancing dolphins.

Sighting dolphins is not usual and not every person going dolphin sightseeing can catch the glimpse of them. But, luckily we got to see a beautiful dolphin twirling through the sea and then vanished in a span of a few moments. But, I captured the moment on my camera.

Apart from dolphins, I sighted a lot of cute little duck kinds of birds flying all over the sea and the famous Kala paani jail and a few other things.

Churches

Later, we went to Augustin Tower and the Basilica of Bom Jesus church, the famous and oldest Roman Catholic Church in Goa. It is also recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. I was thrilled to visit this church on the day of Christmas. It was a sight to be seen.

We then had lunch at a restaurant and later visited a few famous temples of South Goa like the Mangueshi Temple of Lord Shiva. And, yes short dresses and sleeveless are not allowed in the temple.

Around 7 pm we reached the room and I then wanted to go shopping at Arpora night market but we later realized that it is not functional due to Covid. So, changed to new clothes and decided to shop around the Calangute market.

I was there at the Calangute Beach till 1 AM gazing at the beautiful waves and the cold wind passing by the hair. I must say Goa’s life starts at night. You could see a whole new phase of Goa at night. And, it is rare to find people in senses (I hope you get what I mean).

My Outfit Details

I wore a printed, v neck bohemian dress. And, the colorful braids were still on my hair that jotted well with my attire. Okay! So the creative part here is how I accessorized it, I actually wanted a pair of gladiator sandals. And, for the same, I turned around all the streets of Bangalore shopping markets but I couldn’t find.

And, online deliveries were beyond my date of requirement. So, I decided to take a tan brown braided belt and tie it around my ankle. And, I loved the way it glided with my outfit. I wore a pair of similar shade sandals. Further added a chunk of bangles and wrapped a chain around my wrist.

At night, I chose to wear a pair of comfortable black shorts, a neon-colored crop top, and a shell bracelet. I got the bracelet in the morning from South Goa.

That’s it my second day in Goa ended but mind you a day with high fun but the heavy loss was on my way.
