Vacations begin well in advance of the departure date. Although my trip to Himachal was at the end of December, my preparations started in October. I began curating the wintery looks, but the terrible cold naturally defeated all of my efforts and prevented them from turning out as I had hoped.
Nevertheless, I was able to create these winter outfits, which I will probably never get over.
Outfit -1: Red Quilted Jacket
The best winter jacket purchase I ever made was this red jacket. The appropriate amount of red adds just the proper amount of pop to make it more lovely and eye-catchy. I could style it with a pair of blue jeans, white pants, and even black ones. It gives the right amount of warmth and comfort. It creates an effortlessly chic look.
Outfit – 2: Plaid Look
No winter lookbook is complete without a trench coat. I matched my trench coat and plaid skirt with similar tones of grey and black. Couldn’t go out without double-layer stockings in the chilly hills. The stone-studded watch and Black Boots completed the look making it classy and elegant.
Outfit – 3: Blue Plaid Dress
Couldn’t get the perfect picture for this perfect outfit. However, if you have read my Urbanic Haul blog, you are aware of the lovely blue dress I purchased from Urbanic. I accessorized it with a pair of white boots that I, fortunately, received as a secret Santa gift in time, as well as an off-white beret. To complete this snowy ensemble, added a pastel blue blazer on top.
Spent days thinking about what to wear and how to wear my winter outfits but when the day came, I couldn’t help but repeat my red jacket over almost every outfit. double layered my jeans with warm stockings. Couldn’t get pictures the way I planned because of my icy-cold frozen hands.
