Lately, The Museum of Illusions in New Delhi has been buzzing at its height. And, it was on my list for my Delhi trip. Situated in the heart of Delhi – Connaught Place, this museum is India’s first illusions museum.
So, the first thing which popped to my mind while visiting here was: this is exactly what most of the Gen Z feeds on – Going to a fancy picturesque place and creating hundreds of memories locked in the pictures. But nevertheless, this place plays an attractive space for every generation, be it for children, teens, or adults.
It was a rainy day, I had no where but to go to a closed place. And, The Museum of illusions sounded just perfect for the day. I just loved the popping blue color of the entire space. This Museum won’t pass you through historical monuments and figures, instead passes you with a vibe filled with fun and amusement.
Timings and Entry to the Museum
The Museum is open from 11 AM to 8 PM on week days and till 9 PM on weekends.
You can get the tickets online through their Web page. Or, you can get it offline.
What to do at the Museum of Illusions, Delhi
We have studied the theories of Science, Math, and Psychology, and this is a place to experience those theories in reality. The entire space is divided into three parts and each part can be accessed after a specified time. There are many creative illusions where we can halt and take a picture.
Out of all I loved and freaked out too while going through a turning tunnel. It just drilled my head so much.
But, if you visit this place, then trust me stop a sec and look at the person walking inside the tunnel. It is so funny to watch this sight when you have no clue why the person is falling and freaking out standing on a standard floor.
I just came to know that you can even throw Birthday parties and events at this Museum. This sounds like a dreamy birthday theme for Kids.
Apart from these, weird face creation, a mirror place, and a huge kaleidoscope, and a lot more were there at the place.
I don’t know if this place is worth the hype or not. But certainly this is a place that you can visit at least once to experience this weirdly amusing Place.
What I Wore
Museum of Illusions – I wore a Peony Pink dress that was utterly cute and simple. I accessorized it with matching pink sandals, butterfly ear rings, butterfly bracelet and my rose toned watch.
