Now that you are here, I’m sure at least one among you would relate to me in my thought of ‘What were the fashion trends in the 80’s and 90’s? More probably, how people used to dress up in the early years?
Whenever I watch an old movie, the first thing I notice is their dressing attire. And I believe we somehow repeat and get back the trends from those centuries to the present day.
For instance, the classic Victorian and puff sleeves, pleated skirts and trousers, tiny sunglasses, leather skirts, wide belts, and many more are straight out of the 80’s and 90’s look-books.
The then fashion icons have introduced the looks that never go out of style. From Prince Diana’s off-duty looks to the Working Girl’s work-wear (Melanie Griffiths), almost every outfit had a touch of boldness, versatility, and are a fashion inspiration for all the fashion enthusiasts.
So, with no more waiting, let’s check the trends in the 80’s and 90’s ( You never know when they are going to be back after all).
